Default Wasn't there a company that would go check out cars for you?
and give you a report on the condition, etc?

Looking at some roadsters in SF, as there are a lot moredown there than there are in Seattle... there's one in particular that I want to have checked out... and I have time to go down there, buy it and drive it up anytime... but am kind of hesitant to go down blindly and risk wasting a trip down there...

Is there a company that can go check it out for me?

or

If there's someone in SF willing to go check out a car for me? I can pay ya. Would prefer someone with decent knowledge of these cars

Default guy who bought my car used one...
I wouldnt recommend it, he didnt ask to drive, just rode with me for half a mile, didnt look at anything other then visual condition. MOST LIKELY because it was a 2004 under warranty... but still could have checked some things like their website said.

Audi dealers will do a pre-sale inspection for $105 (thats the price here)

OldSchool AG would be a good choice because of his mechanics experience, but if he can't do it, I could help.
