Default It's ok, the Ipod ICE Link is tons better

I had the itrip for a few months and hated it just because it was staticy at times and not very loud on some things. Now I have the Ice link and its a lot better, definately worth the extra money as long as you dont use the cd changer.

Default I use this one.

Any FM transmitter is going to give less than ideal sound quality, but in a fast/loud car, I really cannot notice. This one has worked just fine, plus it's a really inexpensive/quick/transportable option.

Default i hate them.

i would suggest using a cassette adapter over the FM trans, i have a griffin itrip with a 60GB ipod video, it just doesnt transmit the bandwidth nessecary to give you a good sound. i would do the cassette like i said or try and find an aux port on the back of the head unit and wire a pigtail to it.

Default I recently installed the OEM IPOD adapter from ECS....

others here have done this also. It works great in my opinion. As long as you don't mind losing your CD changer. You have to depin the CD changer and pin the adapter. Not that hard to do. The hardest parts are getting the radio out, and removing the pins from the CD changer. Since you have an 01 the tape adapter will work much better than any FM transmitter. But if you want a more permenant install go with this. Here is the link to ECS.

Default Works great if you live in the middle of nowhere.....

If you live in an area where you can tune-in a bunch of radio stations, it will be difficult finding a frequency without interference.
