Default mods to run with e46-m3 coupes?

I was searching the forum and got really mixed answers. You all have probably heard this question a million times

but has anybody actually beat one with a stock turbo & mods?

Default you'll probably need every possible mod you can find and some race fuel.

Excellent clutch would be essential IMHO and so would be your launching skilz. Short of turbo upgrades and nitro...there isn't much you can do to a little 1.8 to keep up with M3.

Default just to elaborate...

Full exhaust is a must with a highflow cat
FMIC
All hoses
Steve's stage 3 with APR/GIAC or Dahlback goodies.
+++The car will have to be 100% healthy. Phenolic spacers, misters, water injection or whatever else you can do to reduce temps would also help.

Default do you really think it would be that tough?

M3:
weight: 3415lbs
power: 333hp

modded TT:
weight: 3100lbs. (if not less...)
power: ~290hp(the only TT dyno i recall seeing in recent weeks/months is TighTT, and I believe his number was around 290)

power-to-weight for the m3 is 10.255, and the TT is 10.689

I don't think that at TT running race gas would really have too much trouble keeping up (at least!) with an M3, provided the 'easy' weight reduction steps have been taken by the owner. A modded M3 would obviously be a different story. just my 2 cents...

Default You're dreaming on that weight figure...>

Last time I weighed mine with half a tank and me in it, it was 3540 (Quattro 225). Also losses through a quattro are way higher than the M3, so HP to the ground is severely challenged too...290-300hp crank with bolt-ons is about the best you're gonna do No matter what anyone says. the KO4 runs out of Poop beyound that as Petervan would say)
