OT, but how many of you guys have whirlpool duet washers?
we just had one put in and started a load of towels and it didn't even get to spinning low speed and it started banging around so we paused it. I read the instructions and they said it had to be level side to side and front to back, all 4 feet solid and the lock nuts tightened to the washer.
Well... the guy didn't level it (I got a level and checked) and the lock nuts were loose around the foot and one foot was broken.. so no wonder.... but I'm wondering how stable its really supposed to be?
Edit: so they are level and stuff now and although there is a tiny bit of vibration left and sometimes the drawer makes a bit of noise... its pretty solid!
Having all the levelers snug to the floor and locked will make a big difference in the machines motion and crawling. You may still feel the floor vibrate.
The Whirlpool Duet is very similar to a Bosch washer. I wonder if they may supply it to whirlpool. They are supposedly great washers.
