Default My gas gauge has been on the fritz, and I got some>>>>>>

techron to put in there, one question first. I don't think that it's my cluster becuase the miles till empty still counts down like normall, but is the gas idiot light in sync with the guage or the miles till empty? I ask becuase the techron says to put in an almost empty tank then fill up, and i was wondering how empty it should really be. I'm at 85 miles to empty and would normally go ahead and fill up, but I'm gonna wait I think. Let me know. Thanks.

It's your meter movement then. Techron won't help that.

Default I think he means the movement in your cluster that is defective, Jeff replaced his......

himself with new meter movements, it's like an electrical coil.

Go ahead and fill up you just want it to mix as you fill.

and since you are almost empty, now's the time.

It take about 1 hour and not too hard. Just remember the fuel send and recv lines are under pressure.

Some have used a flatblade screwdriver and small hammer to loosen the retainer.

Good luck!!!
