Ok just an update, my car sold about 2 weeks ago..picked up something older to drive for now.

I no doubt will miss the quattro, awesome interior, and a great looking car. Thanks for all the info and help I received from the guys on this forum, greatly appreciated. At the moment it was the right thing to do for various reasons.

I found a nice looking older well kept e36 m3 for a great price, and paid off some various loans with the rest of the cash from the sale of the car.

awesome car man! '95? I used to have a '98 boston green sedan

and I miss it terribly... I got my TT to replace the M after it became a money pit, and although the TT has been a joy to own... the raw performance and handling of the E36 M3 is amazing.

If you have any questions about M3s let me know... and bimmerforums.com E36 M3 section is a pretty good forum.
