A Bit of bench racing for comparison sake
I am considering purchasing a used 225 6 speed TT Coupe. The car already has a FMIC, catback (maybe turboback not sure), some kind of intake (Carbon fibre tube without any writing on it), Dahlback intake manifold, and (I assume) a chip. It also has full coilovers installed.
I am considering either that car or a 2001.5 6 speed S4..
Could anyone tell me, hopefully from their own experience, how fast should a TT be in that stage? I am looking for quartermile figures assuming a good launch/driver etc.
thank you all
tom
I actually got to test drive the car.. but it wasnt all that exciting in traffic. Worse, I then got a ride in my friends S4 on some back roads and well, it was very very impressive.. I'm just afraid the TT wont stack up compare to the S4 awesome acceleration and awd fun..
just looking for some e-assurance here, heh.
and also, if its a lake silver.
just about everything on it that's on my TT. if it has the KW v.3, he put his stock fat fives back on...since i think he sold the BBS CHs that were on there. he took great care of his TT...not abused...and not that much mileage on it as well. i believe it was a 2002.

non-smoker. also, i put the ice-link dock in his car like i did mine. it was always garaged.
was broken into once...driver's side i think. was sitting at the dealer lot (fenced in) and was broken into by the door handle/key area.

Modded S4s are very fast off the line, but thouse K03s burn out rather quickly. If you're goint to get a used S4 or a modded one, be prepaired to change the turbos. Not that it happens to every car, but better have the money saved up in case it does.
