i'm stupid, looking to put an 02+ head unit in the 01.

i posted this in the VAG forum, cause i'm half asleep.

is this possible? and possible to find? i'm kinda sick of going behind my seat to change the CD... might be a worthy afternoon project. also i dont even want to ask a dealer what they would charge for such things. it must be ungodly.

Why not go with a PhatBox? I pulled my CD unit and put in the PhatNoise system for less than $200.

I think it is possible. I really like having the in-dash CD and I replaced my changer w/ an iPod.
