Has anyone installed a Tire Press/Temp gauge

I ran across this the other day. I had tire pressure monitoring on a prior ride, saved me a blow-out. Its very cool. Seems like I was in an older hummer with that exact gauge... looks good.

According to the instructions I found online is seems pretty easy.

There are wireless transmitter sensors that are epoxyied on the interior of your wheels and a underdash receiver which wires to the gauge.

I have SmarTire systems on my TT and A4...

I have the senders on the rims, but I haven't gotten around to mounting the receiver. But that

in NO way means you're not crazy! ; )

Mine is a SmarTire system, ordered from TireRack. The base system does not report PSI, just illuminates when under a threshold (18 psi?). You can upgrade to a pressure display. I don't think it will display temps at all.
