Gah, pulled up to get gas this AM and the damn gas lid won't flip up...
of course, the center console button to work the back hatch won't either. The hatch will bump open with the key.
So, both the switches in the center console will not work (they light up with the running lights).
Is it a fuse or a loose connection to the console switches?
It's an 05' 3.2 fwiw.
Any suggestions?

Had this same problem about a month ago. Both gas flap and hatch buttons stopped working all of a sudden.
I opened the panel in the right side of the hatch, and pulled the flap cable manually.
The next day, they worked again and have worked fine ever since. Weird.

For future reference: Backup procedure, RTFM!
There is a sheaf of dead tree slivers hiding in your dashboard which explains this in detail, but basically, open your hatch or trunk, then open the little access door on the passennger side. Inside you will find a cable which will manually open the fuel door.
