Default Anyone ever get Re-Flashed?

For anyone who's following my boost issue...

What was discovered is that the ECU is telling the car to back off boost VERY quickly around 4k rpms. The question is...why? I have the Giac X-Chip and don't know if it's causing the dropoff at all, but I'm probably going to get reflashed. Has anyone gotten reflashed for any reason? And has it helped?

And of course, and other ideas are appreciated as well. Thanks!

Default No. There was a flasher in the movie Putney Swope.>>>

And I saw a postcard once of a flasher in Portland, Oregon.

Default I seem to recall a REVO'r or 2 getting reflashed to try and get rid of the screech. But no GIACs

that I can remember.

Oh yeah, almost forgot.....Girl, flash, and boobies.

Default serious reply inside>>

are you running the latest X code? is your issue at part throttle or WOT?

I just replaced the N75->wastegate hose on my car (what a b*tch), and the 'flat spot' around 4k is definitely less noticeable, but i'd say it's still there. for me, the pull-back in power only happens at part throttle. if it's a similar problem, it might just be a software thing, which will hopefully prompt a new revision to the software...

Default It's at WOT >>

I'm not sure on what version of the X-Chip it is. I got it last year....spring time I think. Sounds like we have two different things going on. I'm wondering if my N75 is funky. hmmm...

Thanks for the serious response! Damn knuckleheads around here! hehehe
