Default Thouse of you with 225s and boost gauges, please confirm what your car idles at.

Mine idles at -16 to -18 (mostly at -16), but as per some posts on the board others noted values closer to -20 and as low as -22. Can anyone please confirm what the idle should be? I wonder if I have another leak. Also, I noticed that when stereo is on the vacume readin goes up a notch. For example: yesterday I was standing at a light and noticed my gauge show vac at -18...when I turned my radio on vac reading increased to -16. I'm guessing extra current draw effects the alternator and hence puts more strain on the engine at idle...just never thought I'd notice it on the gauge.

usually 18-20. Turn on the A/C and its all over the place though.

mine idled parked at 21 but I have a stock 180 so not sure if for a 180 if mine is correct

hmm....so looks like mine should be a bit lower.I never see below -18 unless I'm in a gear cruising.

Default I idle at -19, I think -20 is no leaks, and mechanical boost gauges are all a little bit inacurate..

at least from what I hear. They will be off +/- 1. goto homedepot, grab a friend with an aircompressor and do a pressure test.

Default Could be your gauge is off. Looks close enough. I wouldn't lose any sleep over it.

Mine says -2 with engine off.
