Default Would love feedback from TT guru's - Stage 3+ -vs- Rebuild/Extrude Turbo and Intake?

I have a dilema.

Not totally convinced that I want to go stage 3+ partly because of the review I saw a week ago or so regarding the TT's driveability after this big mod, so now I am thinking of doing the hone/extrude on the intake as well as the turbo, getting a FMIC as well as some fueling and maybe something with the APR chip I currently have or trading it out for another chip - would love to hear your thoughts and comments.

Basically I am going for more power, but I dont want to sacrifice too much low end performance.

Please discuss.

Default I think without the cams.....

Chris's car would have been a different animal.
That put it over the top on the drivability issue IMO. Shouldn't you be worrying about rebuilding the bottom end before you do any of this though?

Default Chris (Axe) has a bigger turbo than the stage 3+ and he also has a custom one off head. You have...

nothing to worry about in terms of drivability with just the stage 3+.

Default Well, what do you think of my TT?

As you know, I have FMIC, large intake with the Dahlback, and most all the other goodies.

I think you know how hard my car pulls in 1st and 2nd.

I don't think I would do the APR Stage 3 due to driveability issues.

If I could do anything more to my TT it would be improve the piping from the exit of the FMIC to the throttle body and a larger throttle body and maybe larger injectors.

Default i was looking at doing injectors>>>

and i might be a bit ahead of you john....i gotta tell ya, i am currently pushing 4.25 bar and the injectors seem to be fine. They might be good to 4.4 or so. I was talking to my Porsche tuner, and he said good injectors (which the 225's have) can be fine all the way to 95% efficiency.....

I would focus on more cooling mods personally...that is my current focus....
