Default Should I get the 32/36 Progressive or the 38 Synchronous Weber Carburetor?

oh wait, wrong forum.... yep, of the 3 cars I own currently, the first one to get an engine mod will be the Toyota Pickup. Partially out of necessity, I might add-- the stock carb is in pretty sad shape after having sat for a couple years.

Hope everyone's having a good 4th. I decided to skip out on the fireworks show my friend puts on every year, due to inclement weather. Sitting here on my covered porch sipping a straw-cranberry dacquiri.

Default a properly set up Weber will improve Everything!! >>>

the 32 / 36 is nice but don't put it on a side draft application. The manifold does not properly balance your mix and you'll be running lean at top, rich at bottom.
Didn't notice...but what car?

Default I rather liked the 32/36 progressive weber on my 80 rabbit, it was a big improvement over the 34mm

single barrel. Probably took me from 62 to 70hp, BIG JUMP!

Default Dont bet too much on performance, I had a similar encounter with my MG

Replaced the single zenith stromberg with a weber downdraft. No noticable increase in power. It looked great under the hood though, and a fun install. It had the old manual choke. Ah.. good times.
