Road Trip - TT or TDI ??

Heading to Breckenridge, CO this Friday from Chicago.

Got a new Jetta TDI that has XM and gets 50mpg on the highway.

TT gets 30mpg, and has complete audio/video/Nav/ipod setup and also V1 and Lidatek Laser. But, also gets a CEL from time to time and I will travel with 2 coilpacks, one MAF, and one DV extra.

I want to take the TT, wifey wants to take the Jetta TDI.

Decision, decisions, decision.

Toss a coin - it would make more financial sense to take the TDi, but the

TT would get there faster and with more style....LOL

Hmmmm.....I'd prolly take the TDi. I also wouldn't want to put the miles on the TT

her to follow you, and see if she can keep up....LOL

Take the TDI - Use the money you saved in gas to buy another mod for the TT

as an "I'm sorry for not taking you gift" The TT will instantly forgive you :-P ...Besides how exciting is driving through Kansas anyways?

nice w/ great friendly folks. Did it awhile back on my 750 Triumph/Rickmann Matisse. What a gas!

I agree, that seems to be the case just about everywhere - get off the interstate
