Looking to purchase a TT an Q about Xenon headlights

I am 95% sure that I am going to purchase this 2001 TT QC 225. It appears from the image that the headlights are not xenon.

The car also has a tape deck, which is not a big deal. I was just looking to find out if they made the 225hp model with out the xenons.

Does anyone know?

I believe they did. Check it at night. When you turn the Xenons on, they have a bright burst, then

settle in to an even light. Normal lights just come on. The Xenons on the TT are not as white/blue as some other manufactures, though, so don't go by color alone. Also, you could look for the ballast for the lights.

It seems very few...>

were sold in the US without Xenons.

Also, when you first trun the lights on - Xenons will move up and down...>>

and then settle in the middle.

Its over at the dealer having the mirror repainted, glove box fixed, and a general check over. It has 22K on it.

I put my deposit down on it, but won't see it again till Monday. I asked them to confirm so I am awaiting on them.

God it feel like Monday isn't coming till next month.....

If it doesn't have the xenons where do they sell them and how hard is the install (plug and play?)
