Don't really like what they look like tho... overall kinda looks like a new Civic hatchback
Car handles nice and tight... shifting w/ the DSG was very quick.. sport mode automatic lets you rev to redline and is very responsive... trubo lag was great I didn't even know it had a turbo.
Got back in the A6 after and it felt like a big boat and the slow-*** shifting tiptronic. haha.

oh don't tell me that...I test drove one before buying my tt...
originally i was going to buy an '04 or '05 GTI..and test drove the new ones as well, but felt that a) they're over-priced and b) i don't like the new bodies...but as far as performance, wow...it was FUN to drive, especially for the stick-tards out there like me, so there are days when i wonder...but naaa... i can't remember if the direct shift option is a lot more $$$$...
my TT mechanic is a fan of the new gtis too...

i was just asking my uncle the other day
why TTs aren't a dime a dozen like beamers (especially in SoCal)...He said there are less Audis out there to begin with...i always wonder about that.
then i asked my mechanic to compare my TT with the new GTIs and he said, "welllll, you've got the 25hp over it..." but there's got to be more (let's not even mention looks).

I just bought one a few days ago.
See my post somewhere down there. It's definitely NOT a TT, that's for sure, but it's a great car to drive. And although the price is a tad high, I think its worth it considering that a similarly optioned A3 will cost thousands more.
I gotta admit though, it feels weird having sooo much window space and headroom.
