Default DV relo hose replaced with 1" Neoprene Aeroduct hose

Replaced this mess of silicone hose and adapters from the DV to the intake . . .

Used 14" of the Aeroduct hose -

All buttoned up. Cleaner look for sure.

looks nice n neat. is the hose thicker than the ones used for your cold air feeds?

Default I had trouble with this... although aeroduct is double walled, it splits

and then leaks at the hose clamps. Under power, with the diverter valve closed, air is pulled INTO the inlet tract through these small tears (bypassing the MAF) and throttle response and g/sec numbers suffer. These leaks are difficult to spot, and only reveal themselves under pressure testing. The (FAR less attractive) heavy silicone hose is the better bet...

Default Thanks I'll keep an eye on that >>

I gave the length of hose a little slack to accomodate the movement of the intake hose and the DV but certainly will check it from time to time.
