Snow Tires for my TT

Hello All
I just bought a 2000TTQC and I love it, but I am taking it back east with me and I am looking to get snow tires. Any Suggestions?

I found a deal on craigslist for some barely used tires/wheels that fit an S4:
"ATP 16 rims with Dunlop Graspic HS2 225/50 R16 tires" for only $250
Are these tires too wide to fit on the TT? Can I buy a set of 10mm spacers?

Also, any maintenance issues I should be looking out for? I bought it at 98kmiles, and the previous owner already broke the timing belt and had the engine rebuilt.

Bridgestone Blizzaks... They are fantastic on snow.

S4 bolt pattern is 5x112 the TT is 5x100.

my opinion: overkill

I ran Nokian WRs here in MN and the snow/ice performance was awesome. However the loss of performance on the good days (read, 99% of the time) was not acceptable. In retrospect, I should have gone with a good high-performance all season like the Conti's. I'm positive that winter performance would have been perfectly acceptable on the few days there was actually fresh snow on the roads.

Yes, I know WRs are all seasons, not winter specific.
