anyone using Pro-Diag and one day sees "ECU not responding or not present"?>>
well that's what I've got. Naturally...because my water temp gauge is riding near the last hash mark! Noticed only today as I drove car to work. Love to know if it's the sensor ...or not. I have the green one....maybe time for another? EGT fine..tons of poop.

Call or email the guys @ ShadeTree....they will probably diagnose problem quickly.
BTW, hot sync'ing and re-entering the activation codes isn't doing anything unless you are reinstalling ProDiag but once is enough (fyi, I've never had to reinstall). Resetting the Palm though always "clears" the serial port which can be a problem if the cable connection was physically undone when the program was connected to an ECU in the car.
ShadeTree has gotten this software so stable it is almost trouble-free so hopefully this will be a quick fix.
I have a lot of experience with the Palm/Treo so let me know if you think the problem is on the Palm end of things and I can work with you.
