would you sell your tt for a 993 targa?

I found a black 993 targa with 29000 miles for 40,000. Do u think this would be a could i idea to sell the tt for that car

nah...

last of the air-cooled, and a beaut imo
but, nostalgia aside, the 1st gen retractable glass targa makes the car much heavier than the regular Carrera and lots of folks have had problems with the roof

from an aesthetic perspective, i like the lines (C-pillar) of the coupe much better than the targa

keep in mind that the 993 also costs quite a bit to maintain!!!

as a toy or occasional GT: sure
as a daily driver, I'd keep the TT

the new 997 targas (out soon).. now THAT would be worth considering and will even come in C4S flavors

Absolutely, you should go get the 993.

The 993 is most certainly the best 911 ever and the Targa is probably the best and most sought after version of the 993. I'd trade in a heartbeat if I found one with the twice that mileage.

what makes it "best?"

I know you are implying it's best in your opinion, but I'm just curious why you think that. I think for the guy who hits the track in his daily driver on the weekends, the 911 coupe is and always has been the best choice.
