Default Catch Can parts please.........

I've been trying to replicate the Catch Can from Steve's (TTschwing) Fotki, but am unable to tell all the parts that were used.

Could Steve (or someone) please help me out?
I've searched high and low for the black swivel
item that allows the pipe to do a 180 deg turn. Would that be in the plumbing section of Home Depot?

Also, what are the diameter of the plastic pipes used and are they PCV pipes or general pipes from the Hardware shop.

Many thanks,
Paul.

Default I build a lot of stuff on the fly...>>

So sometimes I can't come up with a list. The swivel is an underground sprinkler part. On the pipe, they are just various sizes of clear Vinyl from home depot...You just have to build it as you go..

Default Thanks Steve.....

I bought a stack of brass parts from Home Depot today - hopefully I can be as resourcful as you and build something that works

I'll have to go back tomorrow and get that special sprinkler part.

I was just worried that I had to use speical PCV tubing. If its standard clear tubing, what temp/pressure should I be looking to use?

Cheers,
Paul.

Default It's just hose to connect the parts that need..>>

To ventilate through the can. Anything will work. There are a lot of mismatched sizes o deal with there.. The vinyl is more flexible than most. Also, drill 8 or so 1/8th holes around the bottom of the Element inside the filter to promote proper flow and ventilation...
