after we both went through the toll, it was on. went for about 30 seconds - all up hill. my little 4-banger sure sent him for a loop.
he was in the passing lane the whole time and i slowed up for traffic in the middle lane. that was the end of it.
i would have had him had i not had to stop.

The Carerra 4 has a better top end than our TT's....It was probably just
getting into its real powerband when you had to slow down. My neighbor has one that I drive pretty often and bottom end I am all over it, but top end it starts to really pull.

hmmm - i dont' know, things were feeling pretty good and i was a couple car lengths ahead. i wasn't even to 4th gear yet.
remember i'm a 5-speed stg III.

I am not trying to say that you car is slow....but if you were nearby we could test this.....
I have access to a 911 Carrera 4 whenever I want...in fact I will be driving it most of this week since the owner throws me the keys when out of town..... How much hp are you putting to the front wheels with the APR stg III?

300 at the crank. i don't know what the drive train loss is for a fwd. between 10-15%?
I do know that with 100 octane it puts ~290hp at the wheels.
