Any reason NOT to do Tail of the Dragon this w/e?

Any reason NOT to do Tail of the Dragon this w/e?
I've got a couple of days extra this weekend and was thinking of taking my son down to TN/NC so he can experience this drive. Anyone know of a reason not to do it now?

Other than it's Solstice weekend along with a bunch of bike clubs..>>
But it's really hard to find a weekend when nothing is scheduled!

Seriously, thanks for the link to the calendar. I was last there in January and I had it all to myself. I prefer not to have to watch for the bikes. I would like to see those Cobras and GT 40s on Sept 9th however. Thunder on Thunder Road!

Also, Killboy usually has a weekend in December kinda a meet 'N' greet. Usually someone makes burgers and such. I was there last year and pretty much had the road to myself.
