I just found out that I am going to Munich for the Oktoberfest compliments of my employer...

Yep...audi factory tour...munich is beautiful...but>>.
you need to get outside of the cities to get into the local beer gardens...then the fun begins...

Munchen to Ingolstadt is no more that a 55 minute run on the autobahn. It <i>can</i> be less if traffic is favorable and you have the proper car. Cripes, there are few guys in planning and engineering who have made the drive from the Audi Zentrum to the Airport in twenty-seven. At VERY high rates of speed, it should be mentioned.
On the train, the InterCityExpress takes 46 minutes. It has a couple of stops.</font>
