Life of a TT owner, in a hick town.

I did not have a T-fitting, so I thought I would just run up to the local AutoZone, PepBoys, Advance Auto Parts, Napa, or National Auto, and get what I needed. hah.
At each store, I started the conversation the same way: "I am looking to install this gauge.<*Shows gauge*> I need a T-Fitting, that will fit on a 3/16" hose. Do you have anything like that?"
The responses were almost identical..."Sorry, I only know Big Block engines. Ya know, like fords & chevys & mopars. I don't know anything about turbos." ugh.
Interesting additional comments:
One parts guy basically told me I was wasting my time tuning a turbo car. His Olds 442 was a "Torque Machine", and would destroy my car. I asked him if I could see it, and he said it isn't running yet. He's still working on it.
Another asked if the one gauge would work for BOTH turbos. Since the TT stands for "Twin Turbo".
I was warned by another parts guy, that a little car like that would never hold onto the road, if I chipped it. I'd be spinning the wheels all day long. I informed him it was AWD, and he didn't think that would help much.
That's 3 hours of my life, I'll never get back.
Anyone have a link to a T-Fitting I could buy online?
V8's use Vacuum hoses too!<ul><li><a href="http://www.mcmaster.com">If you want a nice brass one, search here..</a></li></ul>
