Anybody out there ever replaced the shocks on the rear hatch?
Curious as to what sorta work I'm looking at...
also wondering about the part numbers I'd need too. The stealership quoted me $180 - $100 of which were the parts.

PN: 8N8 827 552 B - You'll need two ($34.98 a piece)

Your comment made me laugh - I was thinking back some years
when I was trying to change them on my Rabbit. I took one side off thinking the other strut would hold the weight...wrong, got a good whack in the head & learned to ask for help :-)
