Finally happened! Tire blew out on I-25 as wife drove to work. Only major
issue is that the TT 3.2 does not have a spare! Only a can of stop-leak. So when a tire blows at speed (due to road debris), you are stuck. At least it happened during business hours and only a couple of miles from our Colorado Springs Audi dealership--instead of out in the middle of nowhere in the middle of the night. Long story short: Phil Long Audi sent driver to take wife on to her office, and then brought the TT to their shop. No charge for that service. Was only out the cost of mounting and balancing the replacement tires I had at home. (Used our allroad to deliver those tires to the dealer.) Will never buy another car without at least a temporary spare!! Audi, do you hear me??!!!!!!!!!!

My sentiments exactly
I've half-way thought about relocating the battery back up front once it's off warranty. I'll gladly gain some understeer for peace of mind. Down here in the Phoenix heat you never see a car off to the side of the road that just has a flat tire, they're always shredded beyond the stop-leak stage.

Ditto... I worry about taking long trips in mine for the same reason...
You're wife was lucky she was close to a dealership. What would have happened if it occurred in "Stinky Toe, Arkansas" or some other out of the way place?
