Default So i gathered that i need to tap off the bose amp for my sub install...

correct me if im wrong but this means ill be pulling the pass. side rear seat and the panel that covers it...

Why do you need to tap the amp? I did it by tapping the back of the stereo.

Default What did you tap? bose or non-bose?...

i tapped RF and com spliced to an rca (all the grounds went to com and all the channels went to RF) and still just got a low buzz

Default I have Bose and as far as I can recall I tapped it just as you did. Not sure why you are getting

noise on the line. Tapping at the amp is the same as tapping at the stereo...its the same wire.

how the hell do i get that panel off? i can even get the little post for the rear seat off

That's right, and you also don't have to run as much wire through the car to reach the trunk.

Your thinking about tapping from the input, tapping from the Bose LR or RR out is different

Default You need a deep socket to remove the nut that holds that post

Not all brand deep sockets are deep enough though, I think Craftsman should work.

Yeah but you'll be tapping into amplified signal and that will degrade the quality.
