New suspension for FREE...
Unfortunately, one of the rear sway bar linkages is also bent and he recommends the rear linkages be replaced now too. He quoted me $89 for the two linkages and $208 for labor (2 hours at $104/hour). I'll probably get that done at an independent shop I use that only charges $70/hour, and I'll try to find the linkages cheaper myself. Any suggestions?
I drove the car back to work and I immediately noticed the new suspension was much better that what I was riding on before. I can't quite notice the difference between the recall suspension and my pre-busted original suspension though. I tried going around some turns and the steering seemed as tight as before, even with the new control arms. I've only driven it a few miles though, I'll have a better chance to see what it's like this weekend.
