Agh. What is the deal. Rant and questions inside >>>
I dont know whats wrong.
It feels good, it sounds good, it pulls hard (i think). Its beautiful, and so far problem free (again, i think).
Its a 02' 225 with only 38k miles. Its chipped straight from APR.
But i cant get it to 60 mph in under 7 seconds. In fact i cant seem to do it but at about 9 or 10 seconds.
Im not driving it softly. Ive tried every config. even dropping the clutch at about 3-4k rpm.
My butt dyno still says its fast. When i got it it could. But nothing seems wrong.
I even VAG'd it at APR and it pulled no codes.
This is the same problem at 65 degrees to 105. (south dakota)
Anyone have any ideas.
Sorry for this being long. Its a rand as well.
ill get a sig soon.
Thanks everyone.
3. It is or you are in stock mode
2. Bad Maf or Coolant Temp sensor or both
1. You have a boost leak
Time to bring out the vag and do some logs.
Here's the catch: Snapping your foot too far off of the gas is going to cost you some, if not all of, your boost. Everytime you reengage your gas, you've got to get your boost back up.
Once again, this is just my personal opinion and experience talking, but I say get yourself a boost machine, it'll keep your pressure from venting that power when you need it most.
I pull 6.5's to 6.8's with a VTDA, Boost Machine, and no chip.
