How hard is it to install the front bearings?

How hard is it to install the front bearings?

I got a quote today for my suspension install.. and this is getting to be a lot more expensive than I had planned.

Here is my quote:

Coilover install: $200
KMAC install: $ 60
Bearing install: $185
Bushing install: $ 60
Alignment: $ 85

I have the coilovers (KW) but none of the other parts yet.. so it looks like I'm going to be spending $1,000 on top of the price for the KW's. Would it be worth it for me to try to replace the bearings by myself?

do you mean strut bearings/bushings?

do the whole install yourself and save some cash..it's honestly not that hard, and I'm sure there's someone in your area who could help out.

They quoted me $180 for the wheel bearings, forgot to specify.

I've only found one person willing to help and he is pretty far away.. a couple hundred miles. And he said he would only help with the coilovers, not with the bushings or bearings, etc.

I would let dealer do the wheel bearings. $180 doesn't sound bad.

Ok. Thanks. Im going to try one more time to talk a relative of mine into helping me do the

suspension.. Hes built a ton of cars from the ground up.. but all American's... he's afraid of foreign cars. But I'll probably end up just shelling out the $600 to the tuner shop.
