Some backgreound; I ordered this back when it looked like I was gonna sell my TT before the lease was up. With the TT gone I would need something as a "bridge vehicle" until the 2953-edition second generation TT came in. Sale of the 3.2TT didn't happen and the dealer gave me first right of refusal on the RS4 when it showed up so now I've got two Audis in Meechigan. Not a bad thing really, since there are frequent occasions I need something with a functional back seat and we're short on eval cars at the office.
That said, SWMBO and I have been thinking about getting rid of the BMW that lives on jackstands at the California house in preparation of something in the Audi pipeline that's best described as "hyper-sporty." If that happens either the RS4 or the TT will go out west so we have two cars when we
(all-too-rarely) get out there.
Methinks I'll spend some of the weekend taking some siggie-worthy pictures of the sucker. And a goodly bit more burning up $3.29/gallon unleaded.
