Default I love my free suspension but don't love the dumbed down steering...

Well, you all were right. I love the fact that I don't feel every microscope crack in the road, but I've definitely noticed that the steering has changed somewhat, and my TT definitely doesn't seem to want to "turn in" as much as it used to. I can't quite describe what is different about it, but I suppose what is gone is that tendency to oversteer (which actually almost got me in trouble a few times, heh).

I wish I understood more about the steering mechanism in cars (though I've read the howstuffworks article a thousand times), and while I don't have to turn the steering wheel any furher than I used to, it does feel different. Less responsive perhaps. Less like the car is just wanted to say "let's go that way", and more like now I have to convince it. Probably within a week I'll get used to it, and forget all about what it used to be like. And if I never had the pre-recall handling to start with, I'd never know what I was missing.

Default cheap fix-- go with some polyurethane control arm bushings...you'll probably end up better off

than you were even with the old control arms. albeit at the expense of a bit of NVH

I can't believe some company hasn't made a replica of the MK1 arms... they could make a killing with all the hype surrounding them.

Default Get H2sport spindles, it's supposed to do a great job in >>>

correcting all the angles of the steering components and making it steer more similarly to stock.

Default Not really worth it on a TT since they are very similar to the TT's which are different

from the other MKIV cars. If you are serious - go for camber plates.
