before I order, are the H&R 10 or 15mm spacers hubcentric like the 25mm's are but without bolts?

Default ok, looking at ECS for bolts....if I get 10mm spacers, then I would need 38mm bolts since...>>

stock bolts are 28mm??...+ 10mm spacer = 38mm new bolts but they dont sell 38mm bolts so is the 40mm toooo long to use with 10mm spacers??

I would assume that if I wanted the 15mm spacers I would need to purchase the 33mm bolts (28mm stock + 15mm spacer = 43mm new bolt)

Sorry!!....this wheel bolt thing confused me in the past and just starting to understand it now

yes, 38mm. I don't know offhand how much 'play' the oem bolts/hubs have before the bolts protrude through the back and bind - that's what happens w/too long on spacers w/out seperate mounting bolts (which the DRA's - the 25mm's - have); you can grind or cut the 40's if necessary. My rec. is to call ECS - they're great about helping you get it right and will answer all your questions

Default H&R 10mm spacer only fit with OEM wheels.

All H&R spacers are hubcentric.

Only spacers 8mm and up feature the additional mounting lip by which you rest the wheel on. This lip from H&R is tapered in such a manner that they're only designed to fit OEM wheels for their 8mm, 10, 12m, and 15mm sizes.

5 thru 20mm spacers require longer lug bolts.

Lug bolt length is determined by the wheel thickness at the mounting surface. There is NO spec on the wheel that can determine bolt length. Width, offset, diameter, bolt pattern, none of these have any bearing on bolt length.

Rule of thumb, OEM wheels use R13 Ball seats, aftermarket wheels use 60° taper or cone seats. Buy the right seat bolts, of risk damaging the wheel, or having the bolts loosen up.

Hope that helps.

Default and while we're on the subject, NEVER let a >

f***g shop use an impact wrench to put your wheels back on if you have spacers. the spacers are alum and the bolts are steel, and when they 'slightly' miss the mark, the spacer gets chewed up; and when some junior mechanic that you pay the same 90 bucks an hour for as someone with experience torques the bolts to 800 ft#'s, that'll screw with the spacers too - "trust me"!

Might want to recheck that math... 28+15 /= 33...

Default If you go with 15 mm or thicker, I highly recommend FK spacers, B+ system. These bolt to the hub

like the thicker H&Rs, but have steel threaded inserts. You use STOCK LENGTH bolts (handy if you ever need to mount the spare).

You can get them at the link.<ul><li><a href="http://www.ngpracing.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY&amp;Category_Code=spacer5 x100">http://www.ngpracing.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY&amp;Category_Code=spacer5 x100</a</li></ul>
