Default (stupid question) How do I get this coilpack connector off?

I'm trying to replace plugs on my wife's Passat and I can't remember how to get the electrical connectors off of the coil pack. Do you press the tab by the screwdriver in my pic, or pull up on it? Neither seems to be working and I don't want to break anything. What's worse is that I changed the plugs a couple yrs ago on this very car but Audi/VW connectors always vex me--I never remember how to get them off!

Thanks... I'll be waiting in the garage for a tip!

Default no problem walking them up off the plugs, it was just the connectors that vex me

I keep forgetting which way to unlock the tabs.

Default New plugs & air filter today: 2hrs on wife's Passat vs. 20 mins on daughter's Mazda P5

go figure... most of the time spent on the Passat's damn air cleaner. A VTDA on that car would be so much easier.

Thanx for the timely help.

Default Must be Passat day-----

I did temp sensor on daughters V6 4motion Passat.
My hands are not very big, but they are too big to go there! Picked up a good pointer on Vortex. Tie a string to that little plastic clip befor you try to install. Saves time when you drop the darn thing. Another pointer I picked up. After you open the coolant reservoir to release any pressure. put the cap back on before you remove the sensor. Minimizes coolant loss. I did not do this when I changed the sensor on my TT. Lost a bit of coolant due to air flowing into the open reservoir.
