Wiring a Radar Det - Fuse type question

Wiring a Radar Det - Fuse type question
Quick question for y'all.
I want to wire my radar detector, and I've checked out the archives. I'm looking for the easiest possible fuse solution. Seems like my three choices are:
1) Piggyback fuse solution from www.accessafuse.com
OR
2) Jeff B's method
OR, I was wondering if I could use one of the open slots in my fusebox (I don't have anything other than the detector, and so the slot right under the Blower slot is open. Will that work? If so that seems easiest. This one would be my preference. I've got an 02 ALMS coupe, not sure if that matters)

The pics on Access a Fuse are from my old TT and old Z4 used it again in new TT
