Default So how many here think Schwing & Bipes should team up and give us a MAF that lasts!!>>

Dam these things! I get the car back and hit upwards of 30psi. One week later she's down to the low 20's. Typicall TT owner so I have a bunch of old bad MAFs. Put one of the old ones in and performance improved markedly. There will be 4 "bad" MAFs in my garage because I've just bought another!

I'd say....with Schwing's fabrication skills combined with Bipe's apparent proficiencies with electricity it'd be a natural! Common on!

I would prefer that Audi give us a MAF that lasts.

Default I hear ya! Just seems product comparable to what the industry provides >>

is sometimes designed and distributed by folk right here, on this forum.

I heard the Z06 Vette no longer has a titanium exhaust like the Z05. Why? Save $$.
3 steps forward and two steps back.....

Default What about a solution of an off the shelf product that provides the same results

to the computer? Or a software modification that takes use of another off the shelf product to provide proper readings from a more reliable piece of hardware?

Default There are a few things out there...>

Split second makes a MAF scaler that allows you to tune the output of the MAF signal. It intercepts the output and allows you to re-scale it over individual RPM blocks. It is a complicated install. Hans has one but I'm not sure he's ever gotten to the experimentation portion of the trial. A **** also puts your MAF on Cruise since a lower signal is output...No fix for the surface contamination though other than regular cleaning...

I've never had a MAF go bad..go figure...:-)
