Alright, just how DO you get those hose ends off the fuel filter? It looks like there are flat spots

Alright, just how DO you get those hose ends off the fuel filter? It looks like there are flat spots

you maybe squeeze, but it's a no go.
Who has done this?

I followed Rich's how-to and changed out the filter no problem. I spent

more time on the silly clamp that holds the filter to the body of the car. The connectors are "squeeze and pull" but you do have to squeeze in just the right spot.
