fwiw seems like my reductions are even greater >
there must be a significant difference in engine heat between 180's and 225 - TransporTT's bay was wildly hot for instance - (too much so, for a 'regular' drive, but that's the only 225 I've got to compare with - other than oil temps posted on the forum); his mani was far to hot to touch afterward, so I'd say that's your 20%, a good reduction (mani temp of what, say 175 -180?). Mine on the other hand can actually be touched - warm/hot, but won't burn you - after a full drive (oil temp to 220), so much more than 20% (maybe on the order of 140F; a 40% percent reduction - is that possible?). Need to get a spot temp reader on it sometime.
