so how delicate is the haldex system to difference in tire size?
so as told in prior post my passenger side rear tire is trash and i'm getting an alignment done early next week. i went to price a replacement tire and the salesman at discount tire said they wouldn't put just one tire on my car since its all wheel drive. he was a wrx guy and claimed to have seen cars eat a diff because of the difference in tire size do to uneaven tread wear. so my question to all you more experienced gents is do i need to replace all four or am i safe with replacing just the one?

The salesman is correct. Alternatively, you could order a tire and have it shaved to match from
