Help Please: Thick red fluid found on garage floor
Is this indicative of a Transmission leak? How serious is this??
On garage floor under the front passenger side, I found two spots roughly 2" in diameter probably from parking in two different spots. The fluid is reddish in color, very thick/oily and does not evaporate. Quickly inspected engine compartment and undercarriage and found a drop of the fluid on the underside panel but was not able to find the origin. Will have to take underside panel off to get a better look.

It's been a while since I changed the factory oil >>>
But I believe it was honey colored like motor oil (if I am wrong someone please correct me here).
Your going to have to get under there, take the belly pan off, and take a look.
Also, manual tranny fluid is called gear oil.

I guess I'll resume driving it since nobody has chimed in saying something has grenaded....
Been driving my Beast of a Landcruiser for the past few days and have missed the little guy.

Manual tranny oil at around 30K...
