Acceleration flat spot with cold engine gets worse when its cold. Why?>>
Basically its most noticable when engine is cold and weather cold in first and second gear. Initial boost climbs to say 10Psi under medium acceleration but abrubtly dips to zero between 2500 and 2800 rpm as far as I can see without logging on Vagcom. Feels like it hits the wall. Typically happens just before changing gear, but before I have reduced pressure on accelerator disengaged clutch. However, if I continue accelerating,once above 3000 rpm, boost will climb back up and continues to climb normally all the way throughout the range. So its not hitting limp. Obviously the duty cycle to the N75 is reduced as you can hear the venting as the boost gauge neatly drops to 0. The Revo state of tune is milder than their standard on boost. I have checked the feeds to the TTDA for blockage. BM settings have not been changed for a while.I was thinking of dialing the BM to neutral and resetting the Revo to stock to check the response under baseline conditions. The N496 is already bypassed. I'll check the DV diaphragm tonight, but do not suspect that this is the issue as the car has displayed this beahvior consitently irrespective of DV condition inthe past. Any useful thoughts?
