Default ALMS TT 2002 - S Line Suspension

Just dropped off my car this morning to have the S Line Suspension kit installed for my 2002 ALMS TT.

I bought the S Line from Stratmosphere - the last one they had in stock! I wanted to stick with Audi stuff vs other manufacturers. Also getting a 4 wheel alignment...can't wait to drive the car this afternoon. I am keeping the stock suspension.

Anyone else here have the S Line installed on their TT? My next mod is most likely Revo.

for the rear.

Hey, but if you like it that's all that matters.

I understand that the rear shocks are already S Line which means that Audi must have parts available for repairs, replacements etc. Or am I misunderstanding your statement?

Thanks,

Default Stock shocks are crap Monroe's and are probably shot already

And if not they probably will be soon. Some people notice the difference a lot more than others. Personally I wouldn't go through the hassle of suspension work or paying someone to do it without replacing the shocks.

Car has low mileage so I am hoping to get another year with stock rear shocks and thanks for the tip on OEM Monroe.

They may not last a year. Mine were gone by 20k, others had them go by 5k.

So after having the S Line installed folks were getting rear shocks replaced after 5k to 20k of driving so that would be for me 6 months to 2 years since I don't drive much at all.

I can live with that.

Default LOL. Stratmosphere said that mine was the last one too >>

I guess they just tell you that to make you feel *special*. They said that during the move to their new facility, the magically uncovered an S-line kit they didn't know they had.

I had it installed in August. To tell you the truth, I didn't notice much of a difference in the feel. I've included a pic so you can get an idea of how much it lowered the car. The pic in the sig also has the S-Line installed.

I started out wanting to do the all OEM parts route, but the mod bug hit me... and hit me in a really bad way!! Take a look at what I have waiting to be installed if you don't believe me ;-)

Let me know what you think about them after their installed.

Vince.

I know I had the last one as they removed the product and description off their website...LOL.

You have quite the list of MODs pending and good luck with that.

My intentions are better handling and performance.
