Before the S-line that is. I know with the A4's you had the option for a Sport Package that included a lower, stiffer suspension. You would think Audi would have done something with the suspension on the Performance Package... Other than just adding 18" wheels.

Default In the US yes. There was no "Performance" package..>>

S-line in the US is just badging on the TT and has no real performance benefit. This may change with the MK2 though.

Default Yes . . . but . . .

The 3.2, though not a true "S," is different from other TTs. Shock part numbers are different (don't know about springs). This makes it confusing when seeking aftermarket replacements for the 3.2. I have yet to see Bilsteins listed for the 3.2. Only package so far seems to be the Koni FSDs with springs.

Default It's different because..>>

The weight and balance is different than the 1.8, requiring a modification to the shocks and springs. You're right, it's not a true "S" (Whatever that means anymore since Audi has blurred the line between Cosmetic and performance changes under this designation)

Default Different but no better!

Still basically wears out at about 20K. But what to replace it with?
