Got smoked by a Camry
From a standstill to about 65 onto the freeway. It was a V6 SE model. Some older lady was driving. Times have changed, Camrys was never known for acceleration. I wouldnt be surprised if an Odyssey smokes me. But hey, speed is not everything to me, none of those cars are as fun to drive than the TT.

oops. But realistically, these modern Japanese V6's with auto trannies and a lead foot means
someone driving a stick shift almost has to be "racing" to keep up. I mean, you have to match shifts, and that's speed shifting in under 1 second assuming you have torque to play with.

I rented a Camry V6 not long ago and .........
I was shocked at how quick it was. It leaps from a stop with a jolt and keeps humping all the way to redline. It is an amazingly quick car. I had a ball with it. It was literally smoking when I turned it back in.
A chipped 225 would beat it but I don't think a 180 would stand a chance.
