Default So I have my KW 8012 springs in the rear, and I STILL have one perch all

the way down (the other about 1/4" up)... I wouldn't mind going little lower, but I need adjustment to keep it corner balanced. Guess my only option is to cut the springs, or find some that are lower from another manufacturer? Certainly lower than the original springs, but not as low as I was hoping they would be...

Default remove or flip the adjusters, use shims to get the 1/4...

cut springs rarely work well. Tried it... it seems to increase the spring rate disproportionately. You get "bounce".

Default my V3's came with the 8012 springs, KMD flipped the rear perches and left out the height adjuster

I dont have height adjustment in the rear anymore and only have height adjustment up front but I am as low as I can go in the rear with the 8012 springs with 18" wheels. If I ever run 19's, then I may end up putting the rear height adjusters back on.

Default did you remove the white spacer on the bottom of the rear springs?

that will give you another 3/8" lower i believe.

No... For the life of me, I could not get the rubber piece on top of it out. Got a tip to do that?

Default the rubber has a blunt pin on it...and attached to the white spacer. there's a large metal

piece under the rubber as well. most likely...like with mine, it has rusted into place.

what i did was to use a small crowbar and gently lift up all the edges upward until it gave way. it was rusted on the center bump stop with the inner ring...if that helps. it was hard to understand how it was placed in until i removed one of them (the easier of the two)...once i saw how it was put in, the other was easy to get out.

so the rubber pin goes through the bottom spring platform...so it won't rotate...which is why you won't be able to rotate it free until you get the rubber pin out of the slot.

Default Guess I'll give it another go if/when I get my new shocks... Gotta keep ride height here now,

for a while, though, with the new alignment and all...
