Parking Light Issue
I went and bought a parking light for my TT as the driver side stopped working and my inspection is due in December. However, last night I just noticed that when I unlock/lock the car via the remote, the driver side parking light flashes. When I try to turn the headlight switch to parking light mode in the car, the driver side parking light will not light up. Are there two seperate lights working in that lamp?

Try this...
My parking light was out last month, so I went out and bought a new one (they're hard to find too). I then searched the forum to see how to change it, and I found that most of the time, all you have to do is whack the headlight with side of your fist and it'll loosen up the corroded connection and fix it. So I went out, gave it a hit, and presto!!
Let me know if it works.
By the way... yes, there are two lights... the light that flashes when you lock/unlock is the same as the blinker light... it's different bulb than the parking light.
And... most of these type things can be found in the FAQ, so you may want to check it out.
