Default Electrical gremlins rearing their ugly head...>>>

I am not sure this is related, but it seems that ever since I put in my boost gauge, my left front low beam light has been cutting out. I can always tell that it's about ready to go out when the headlights flicker high beam really quickly on their own. I have had the low beam indicator light come on prior to install the boost gauge a few times. All my connections are real solid when I did the wiring for my boost gauge, so I am somewhat doubtful that a loose wire is the culprit. Parts do wear out and I guess I will just buy a set of bulbs and see if that cures things. I've always wanted to get a little bit dimmer bulb anyway based on how many times on-coming traffic flick their bright lights at me. I pissed off a truck driver so much one time that when he passed me, he turned on his lights he had facing backward. Geez those lights were like airplane landing lights. Boy was he pissed!

Default Sounds like your lights are aimed too high... Too bright does not compute, and putting a dimmer

bulb in would be my LAST resort (and one I could not even fathom pursuing).

Default Clean the electrical plugs and bulb sockets...>

With some spray on contact cleaner. Adjust those lights too!

Bulb sockets come out just like the parking light sockets correct?

Default Thanks Steve..Getting my baby dialed in and ready for sale very soon.

putting in another temp sensor in hopes of getting the cold engine start nusaince resolved, then cleaning engine bay, clean undercarriage and everything else until not a spot of dirt remains. The new owner will have to get a new cluster. My cluster works fine most of the time, but resets the date and time a lot. I could have a bad battery, and might behoove me to put a fresh one in.

Default Sounds like you are putting WAY more work in to it than 99% of other sellers, certainly

more than any dealer sale. I wish you the best in your venture!

Default Yeah, I've got a bad case of OCD.

I do clean my car a lot! i just want the new owner to be as happy as I was when I first bought the car. I got screwed over a couple times on car purchases and I believe it is just doing the right thing to sell someone a real clean car without any issues. I have every single receipt ever spent on the car and those will be put in a nice three-ring binder in date order. The last car I had I got real screwed on, and I came real close to getting in a fist fight with the guy...long story short, but I accused him of lying about the car, he snarled back, and it was a face to face f#@$ing ugly shouting match. He threatened to sue me, I threatened to punch him and vice versa. I still have that piece of crap car, and I am just about ready someday to look up his house on Google Earth, drive it over there, and park it on his lawn. He can dispose of it how he wishes.
