Default Has anyone had their map sensor fail?

I'm just debating if I should order a new one or not. I'm getting a code that the voltage is too low.

I'm wondering if it is a wiring problem. trying to save myself the $100 if I could, seems that this car has had a bad month, I've replaced a lot of stuff.

Default I think my 'map sensor' would be my eye... and both are still working, sort of

... OTOH, if you mean the MAF sensor, then STFA and you'll see it's one of the favorite topics. Veritably hundreds of posts to choose from.

Default Sucks when your humor backfires on you.

MAP sensor = manifold air pressure sensor and it's on the pipe underneath the battery on the 225's.

Nice attempt though. ;-)

Default Looks like its time for a new one, no combination of terminals make voltage:

i read 130mbar so 130 x .00196 = .25 volts

I get this reading with the map plugged in or unplugged

my luckey day i guess.
